PURPOSE:To provide an automatic original supplying device for copying machines which can position originals in strict positions without using costly rubber rollers and without using movable stoppers. CONSTITUTION:Timing belts 10A, 10B are formed in one body by means such as vulcanization or adhesion on both sides of a broad belt 8 provided between a main driving shaft 6 and a driven shaft 7 in a conveying part 2, and the winding directions and twisting directions of the reinforcing cores to be sealed in the inside are determined mutually oppositely so that the force deviating to one side on the outer side in the width direction of the belt 8 while the belt is driven with a timing pulley 9. A revolution detector constituted of a slit disc 15 and a photocoupler 16 is provided at the end of said shaft 6, and the stop timing of a driving motor 12 is controlled by a controller 17 which controls the revolutions of the motor 12 by receiving the detection signal from said revolution detector. Since there is no slipping motion in a feed direction between the shaft 6 and the belt 8, an original X is stopped in an exposure position simply by detecting the rotating angle of the shaft 6. |
