<p>PURPOSE:To lower the cost of an elastic member molding metal mold and prevent the rise in temp. of grease due to an enlarged space in a bearing by providing a through hole on the inside diameter side part of a core metal made of a ring form plate, and integrally molding elastic members on both sides of said inside diameter side part through said through hole. CONSTITUTION:Since the core metal 21 of a bearing seal is of a simple ring without a bent part, a highly accurate machining can be given to the core metal 21, leading to a highly accurate outer shape of a rubber 22 which is molded using the core metal 21 for positioning. As for the machining of the metal mold for molding the rubber 22, only circular machining is used without need for using linear machining for a column part and, thereby, the cost of the manufacture of the metal mold can be lowered. And, since there is no column part on the side faced to the left side of the bearing seal, the space inside the bearing can be made larger. Accordingly, the enclosing quantity of grease into the space in the bearing can be increased. reducing the stirring of the grease and enabling the bearing to be rotated at a lower torque. Also, the rise in temp. of grease can be prevented.</p> |
