PURPOSE:To provide a recording liquid containing a specified dye compd. and forming images excellent in resistance to water, light, abrasion, etc. for a long period without causing clogging of an orifice. CONSTITUTION:The recording liquid contains about 0.1-20wt% dye compd. in which an ion of formulaIor II (where K, l, m and n are each 1-4) is linked to at least one acidic group in the dye (Na, K, ammonium, etc. may be linked to non-ion-bonded acidic groups)[e.g. a salt of Water Black P-200 (a product of Orient Chemical Industry Co.) and said ion]. |
