The device comprises rollers (7) placed between a cam (1'') integral with the drive assembly and a hollow cylindrical part (2') of the driven assembly. A cylindrical part (10) is held in the coaxial position and is prevented from revolving in the opposite direction to the coupling by a spring (11) at the fixed end. This device makes it possible effectively to prevent accidental coupling in the opposite direction to the drive, and may particularly be used in a fishing reel. <IMAGE>
