PURPOSE:To increase the lives of tungsten halogen lamps by improving their thermal radiations without providing bases around the sealing parts of the lamps by directly supporting the lamps, which have the said sealing parts at their both ends, with supporting members having water cooling mechanisms. CONSTITUTION:Main mirrors 2 and 3 and side mirrors 20 and 21, which are provided with introduction paths (W) into which cooling water is supplied, are located on the top, the bottom and both sides of a space 1 containing the processed subject of a heating irradiation furnace. Next, tubular tungsten halogen lamps 10 having sealing parts 12, to which conductive members are fused, at their both ends are inserted into the grooved parts (m) of the main mirrors 2 and 3, and the sealing parts 12 are supported with the grooved parts of the side mirrors 20 and 21. In addition, air-course members 4 and 6, an air-sending equipment 5 and an air-discharging equipment 7 are installed at both ends of the main mirrors 2 and 3. As a result, since the lamps 10 can be directly supported without providing any bases on the sealing parts 12, the lives of the lamps 10 can be lengthened by preventing any oxidation disconnection of the conductive members by improving the thermal radiations of the lamps 10. |
