<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduced character pattern with clear contour, with no stain sticked to a medium, by making a data effective within a predetermined specification size as a character data, after the character on the medium is read. CONSTITUTION:Character information of a memory M designated with an address signal of an address register A is inputted to an OR circuit R1, the OR operation is performed for width direction data and the result is stored in a register L2. The length of a segment contained in the register L2 at a measuring section K is measured and the measured value W0 is inputted to one input terminal of a comparator C1 and the value is compared with a standard value Wn inputted to another terminal. If the result of comparison is as W0<Wn, the pattern data in this region is made effective and this operation is repeated. The similar operation is made for the height direction data of character information. Thus, the data within the segment region of height direction and width direction of the pattern obtained are treated as the character information.</p> |
