PURPOSE:To efficiently clean positively or negatively charged magnetic toners remaining on a recording medium surface after transfer in a transfer type image recording device, by providing the 2nd roller made of a magnetic material which rotates in contact with the 1st roller and a blade for scraping the magnetic toner. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic toners 4 remaining on the surface of a recording medium 1 after transfer are removed with fiberous hair implanted in a sleeve 9, and also transferred to the side of the 1st roller 2 by a magnetic attracting force and an electric attracting force by an AC electric field where the bipolar charging of magnetic toners 4 is considered, so its cleaning is performed effectively without scattering the magnetic toners 4 and deteriorating the surface of the recording medium 1. The after treatment of the magnetic toners 4 sticking to the 1st roller 2 is also performed efficiently by simple means such as the 2nd roller 3 and a blade 5, and its recovery is performed without mixing impurities and paying attention to the blocking of the toner. |
