The insulation device incorporates a channel-section pipe cover (13) with clamping screws (24) engaging with clamping members (14) on the opposite sides of the pipes. This holds the cover edges against a base to which the pipes (10,11) are fixed by brackets (12). - Between the cover inside surface and the pipes is flexible insulating reflective sheet material (16). This is secured to internal flanges (22) and to a distance piece (23) on the cover inside, so as to form an air chamber (17) between the pipes and cover.(1) |
