PURPOSE:To operate an information processor efficiently, by switching and connecting a subordinate processor to peripheral devices in response to the indication of the subordinate processor, interpreting a channel program with an execution controlling means and operating the peripheral devices. CONSTITUTION:A service processing SVP device 2 outputs an attention signal to an SVP processing section 123 of an input and output processor 12 via an input and output interface 3 and transmits data for switching operation of a switch 124 to read operation from the processing section 123 succeedingly. Thus, the section 123 changes over the switch 124 to a virtual channel processing section 125 under the control of a control section 120 and reports the end to the device 2. When the switch 124 is changed over, the device 2 is operated as a virtual CPU, and the execution of a channel program is instructed to a virtual channel processing section 125, the processing section 125 transmits the content read out from a virtual storage section 126 to a print processing section 122, which operates a printer 133. |
