<p>PURPOSE:To simply detect the end of a tape, by forming an optical path through the provision of a hollow positioning pin intruded to the front part of a cassette, a light from the light emitting section on a base through crossing a tape running path, and detecting light at the outside of the cassette. CONSTITUTION:An optical path is formed with a hollow shaft of a positioning guide 120 at the supply side of a cassette C. A light emitting member 122 is fixed 121 on a base 65 near the base of a guide 120 and a light is projected in parallel with the base 65. The projected light is reflected at the 1st refrection section 123 on the guide 120 and the 2nd reflection section 124 at the upper part of a positioning hole of the cassette C, crosses over a path of a tape T and reaches to a photodetection member 126 provided at the side of a cassette holder 125 for detection and detected. The entirely same detection circuit is provided also at the winding side of the tape. A transparent tape with a suitable size is bonded at the beginning and end parts of the tape. Thus, the cassette can be constituted compact and the ends of tape can be detected with a small sized device.</p> |
