PURPOSE:To eliminate defectives and to improve productivity by welding plural pieces of mandrels provided with bulging pedestals in one end parts in the parts of the pedestals thereby connecting the mandrels to one body. CONSTITUTION:Mandrels 3 mounted with bulging pedestals 7 in one end part thereof in one body are cast. Cylindrical sleeves 4 are fitted onto the mandrels 3, and the sleeves 4 are sealed at one end with the pedestals 7. An active material is packed in the clearances between the mandrels 3 and the sleeves 4. The sleeves 4 are juxtaposed, and sleeves for preventing the dislodging of the active material are fitted on the other end parts of the sleeves, whereby a lower connecting seat 6 is formed. The pedestals 7 are dipped in a molten lead alloy 10, whereby plural pieces of the cores 3 are connected to one body. |
