PURPOSE:To detect welding condition with pulse signals and to maintain the welding in a correct state by drawing out frequencies by filtration of welding sounds and converting the frequencies to pulses. CONSTITUTION:Welding sounds are drawn out with a sound detector 1, and the drawn sounds are filtered with 1 or >=2 band pass filters 2 whereby specific frequency components are drawn out. The drawn out frequency components are supplied to a pulse generator 3. Then the generator 3 generates the pulse signals of respec tively different range according to the frequencies of the respective bands. The pulse signals are counted with a counter 5. The welding sounds of an ideal state are beforehand converted to pulse signals and are compared with the weld ing sounds which are detected in the actual welding and are converted to pulse signals, whereby the actual welding condition is judged. |
