PURPOSE:To increase mechanical stength without thickening the plate thickness of fin- shaped projection sections and to expand heat radiatnt area and to try compactness and light weight as well by a method wherein fin-shaped projection sections are formed by bending sheet-shaped thin steel plates in wave form and corrugated cooling bodies forming the fin-shaped projection sections are provided and either the primary bushings or secondary bushings are provided at a tank side wall. CONSTITUTION:Tanks accommodating iron cores 26 and windings 27 are faced and arranged. A pair of short-side side walls 11, 12 consisting of corrugated cooling bodies, a long-side side wall 13 arranged between either end sections facing to the side walls 11, 12 and composed by corrugated cooling bodies, and a flat- plated long-side side wall 14 arranged between the other end sections facing to the side walls 11, 12 are oil-tightly fixed by welding each adjoining end section respectively and tank side walls are formed. The end sections of the side wall 14 at the side walls 11, 12 are arranged at the positions extended to the outside than the positions of the basic sections 11a, 12a facing to the side than the positions of the basic section 14a of the side wall 14 and both end sections of the side wall 13 are arranged at the positions extended to the outside walls 11, 12 and bushings 5 are mounted at the basic section 14a of the side wall 14. |
