The horse-shoe shaped plate (1) with rigidly attached sleeves (2-5) is used to support plant-stakes (6) of different diameters, for use with potted plants. The sleeves are parallel to each other and are sited at regular intervals along the curved axis of the plate, being designed for embedding in the culture medium (soil). The sleeves each locate a tubular stake of a different diameter. The foot of each sleeve is pointed (7) and split (10) into two jaws (8,9) which grip the relevant stake.
