In a process for bonding coils or screws by means of rotatable coils, an adhesive which cures rapidly or too rapidly in a thin coating is applied in the form of drops, spread out in the radial direction in the form of wheel spokes and only levelled during grouting (jointing) by rotating the coil in a template. The bonding operation can be controlled in such a manner that, after a slight rotational resistance, which indicates the commencement of curing, axial pressure, which is absent or must be terminated during rotation, promotes the curing to optimum loadability. The coils can, for example, hold a mirror console to be arranged against tiles, where a rubber washer bonded between tile and coil by means of the instant adhesive (cyanoacrylate) is expedient.
