PURPOSE:To facilitate the position adjusting operation of a corotron equipped part and to perform even the fine adjustment, by energizing the corotron equipped part nearly at right angle to the surface of a photoreceptor, and allowing the energizing force to cooperate with a cam means. CONSTITUTION:A position adjusting device for a corotron 2 is equipped on a pivot 41 fitted to a machine frame 3 in the rotating shaft direction of a photosensitive drum 1 through a pivotal driving piece 42 and a guide rail 44. A cam member 45 with a slanting cam surface 45A is fitted to the bottom surface of the guide rail 44 close to the front edge and a deviation spring is provided between the guide rail 44 and machine frame 3 to energize the guide rail 44 away from the surface of the photosensitive drum 1. An adjusting screw 51 as a cam operating means is rotated to move and adjust the guide rail 44, i.e. the corotron 2 through the engagement between a cam operating element 47 and the cam member 45, and the cooperation with the spring 50 in such a direction that the corotron 2 moves close to or away from the surface of the photosensitive drum 1. |
