PURPOSE:To suppress lowering of the room temperature during the defrosting operation by automatically correcting so that the ''OFF'' point of a room temperature setting thermostat becomes higher than the ''OFF'' point during the ordinary driving when the defrosting conditions are satisfied or forcibly applying an auxiliary heater. CONSTITUTION:Upon heating operation, in a case where such defrosting conditions that the temperature of an outdoor heat exchanger has been lowered to a predetermined value and that a predetermined time has passed from the preceding defrosting time, was satisfied within the range of a temperature d1 of less than a point H, power is forcibly supplied to the auxiliary heater to start the preheating. Then, the room temperature setting thermostat reaches the ''OFF'' point. However, in this controlling method, further preliminary overheating (A deg.C) of the room temperature is started at a point A'. Upon the above described controlling operation, the same effect as described above can be obtained if, after the above defrosting conditions are satisfied, the room temperature thermostat automatically corrects and increases the ''OFF'' point of the room temperature set value by a predetermined value from the ''OFF'' point of the room temperature setting thermostat. |
