PURPOSE:To prevent water from immersing into a compartment through a weather strip by providing a water guide at the strip for sealing between a hatched back door and a body. CONSTITUTION:A lip 112 is formed at a weather strip body 110, and is contacted with joining flanges 1a, 2b of a panel. A tunnel-shaped water guide 18 is mounted at the outside E of an automobile. When rainy water is immersed into a space 20 between the body 110 and the flanges 1a, 2a, is flowed to the engaging part with rear end panels 1, 2 the water level at this part is rised, and exceeds the height of one side 18a of the guide 18, water is flowed from the upper opening 16a of the groove 16 to flange 1a and general surface 1b and is drained from the lower opening 16b out of the body. |
