Process, apparatus and use of a rotational gas mixture separation by the principle of rotational oxygen enrichment, but without magnetic energy content, for the purpose of separating gases differing in molecular weight, in particular nitrogen with carbon dioxide as against hydrogen, without or with - also separately as an independent process - a novel two-component air mixture combustion system. (First component equal to combustion to form carbon dioxide; second component equal to combustion to form steam) with treatment of the exhaust gases (first reduction, first and second conversion) to give hydrogen (gas mixture separation by process according to the invention) and use of circulation for the second component so that new fuel is only required for the first component (possibly for reduction).
