PURPOSE:To prevent sensitivity of a detecting element from deteriorating due to smoke of a cigarette, dust, etc., by using a product formed by mixing carbon compound powder with polypropyrene, etc., as an air ventilation filter for covering a humidity detecting element of a humidity detecting device of an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:Onto a substrate 8 in a case 7 of a remote-control device 2 of an air conditioner 1, a high polymer humidity detecting element or a detecting element 9 consisting of a porous sintered substance, etc. which have added an alkali metallic oxide to a spinel compound consisting of ZnO and chromium oxide is installed together with a lead wire 10. In order to protect this element from smoke of a cigarette, dust, etc., a filter 11 of a porous structure, which is obtained by mixing carbon powder with polypropyrene, etc. is provided. This filter 11 is colored in an unattractive way so that it is not damaged by mischief of children in home, etc. Also, it is better to screen the place by providing air permeable cloth 12, etc. between the filter 11 and a vent hole 6 of the case 7. |
