The invention relates to a closure device for windows, doors or similar openings, which can be moved from a compact, stored position into a sheet-like extended position and vice versa. The closure device has pressure chambers which can be actuated by pressure medium, with the result that the movement procedure of the closure device can be carried out by means of supply and discharge of pressure medium (see Figure 1). The decisive advantage of the invention is that a multiplicity of closure devices can be supplied by a single pressure-medium unit and only one drive motor is thus necessary for a multiplicity of closure devices. <IMAGE>
