PURPOSE:To prevent a circulation pump from being adversely affected by the boiling of a heat medium and to improve the durability of the titled apparatus by a method wherein the temperature of the heat medium flowing through a backward pipe on the side of a heat accumulation tank is detected through an air vent valve provided in a heat accumulation circuit and the circulation pump is controlled in proportion to the detected value of the heat medium temperature. CONSTITUTION:The solar heat collecting apparatus is of such structure that a heat collector 1 and the lower part of the heat accumulation tank 2 are connected through a forward pipe 5 interposed with a strainer 3 and a heat collecting pump 4 and the backward ippe 7 connected with the air vent valve 6 at the highest position of the apparatus and in the vicinity of the heat collector 1, to thereby form the water circulation circuit 8. In this case, a boiling preventive thermostat 13 for detecting the temperature of hot water in the upper part of the heat accumulation tank 1 is provided and also a hot water temperature detecting thermostat 15 is provided at an intermediate position C of the backward pipe 7 on the side of the heat accumulation tank 2. Thus, when the thermostat 15 detects that the temperature of the hot water at an outlet A of the heat collector 1 is near the boiling point of the hot water, the circulation pump 4 is stopped through a control device 11'. |
