PURPOSE:To suppress the rotation vibration of the power plant and also prevent the transmission of noise vibration of the power plant to a passanger room by a method wherein the engine transversely installed power plant is supported by three-pointed resilient support, two points positioned in the vicinity of the side wall on the passenger room side in the forward and backward direction with the gravity center of the power plant sandwiched therebetween, and the other point positioned in the vicinity of a transverse bar. CONSTITUTION:The first one of the support members 27, 29, each comprising an inner and an outer cylinder 32 and 34 and a resilient member 35 interposed between the cylinders, is located on the passenger room 26 side in the forward and backward direction with respect to the center of gravity G of the power plant 14 and supported by a side member 12 in the vicinity of a suspension tower not shown of a right side wall 5. The second support member 28 is supported similarly on the side member 12 of a left side wall 4. The third support member 29 is located on the opposite side to the support members 27 and 28 in the forward and backward direction with respect to the center of gravity G and supported by a front member 13, that is, the transverse bar. In this instance, the support member 27 is positioned at a higher position than the center of gravity G of the power plant 14, whereas the support member 29, at a lower position. The support member 28 is positioned at a middle point between the support members 27 and 29. This construction is very effective for suppressing the rotation vibration of the power plant and preventing the transmission of noise vibration of the power plant to the passenger room. |
