1. Bolt for a window, door or the like, comprising a box (22, 122, 222, 322, 422) in two parts (171, 172, 271, 272, 371, 372, 471, 472) adjoining in a longitudinal plan of the casement bolt (7, 107, 207, 307, 407) and leaning one against the other, said box (22, 122, 222, 322, 422) providing the housing of a door-knob hole (125, 225, 325, 425), the latter being actuated by an external working means ; a head (5, 105, 305, 405) rigidly secured on the front of the box (22, 122, 222, 322, 422) and intended to recover a longitudinal groove (4) cut on the edge (3) of the leaf (2) ; two locking rods (123, 124, 223, 224, 323, 324, 423, 424) approximately situated on the tangent to the body of the door-knob hole (125, 225, 325, 425) and each in the extension of the other and intended to be moved in said groove (4) ; driving means acting on both sides of the door-knob hole (125, 225, 325, 425) and converting the rotation of at least a quarter turn of the door-knob hole (125, 225, 325, 425) into a simultaneous translation of equal course and in opposite directions of each of the two locking rods (123, 124, 223, 224, 323, 324, 423, 424) ; characterized in that the driving means of the door-knob hole (125, 325, 425) with the first locking rod (123, 323, 424) consist of teeth (133, 134, 135, 333, 334, 335, 433, 435) projecting beyond the body of the door-knob hole (125, 325, 425) and directly engaging with corresponding apertures (143, 144, 145, 343, 344, 345, 443, 444, 445) formed in the end (146, 346, 446) near the door-knob hole (125, 325, 425) of the first locking rod (123, 323, 423) ; and the driving means of the door-knob hole (125, 325, 425) with the second locking rod (124, 324, 424) consist of at least a tooth (131, 133, 475) projecting beyond the body of the door-knob hole (125, 325, 425) and engaging with at least a corresponding aperture (136, 137, 336) formed in a flexible member (140, 340, 440) linked to the door-knob hole (125, 325, 425), secured to the end (142, 342, 442) near the door-knob hole (125, 325, 425) of the second locking rod (124, 324, 424) and guided in a passage (100, 300, 400) realized in the box (122, 322, 422) and ending in a groove (149, 349, 486) parallel to the second locking rod (124, 324, 424), so that the whole bulkiness of the box (122, 322, 422) allows the setting thereof in the thickness of leaf (2) in a housing (8, 9, 10) to be notched by piercing from the internal face (1) of the leaf (2). |
