PURPOSE:To perform ingnition timing control with a maximum speed of an engine, by plurally setting combination of ignition timing for each cylinder and correcting the ignition timing toward the direction of increase of an engine speed from this combination. CONSTITUTION:An engine is operated with ignition timings L; H, S combined with each cylinder, when rotary speeds N1, N2, N3 are obtained. A rising direction of the speed is obtained from N1, N2, N3, and the ignition timing is controlled to that direction. Assuming R1 for the ignition timing, if repeatedly performed this operation, a crest A of the rotary speed and can be obtained. In this way, control can be performed in optimum ignition timing. |
