PURPOSE:To decrease increase proportion of fuel and reduce smoke, by providing a speed reducer for moderating a moving speed of a control sleeve, when the control sleeve, moving toward the fuel excess direction, is moved exceeding a prescribed position. CONSTITUTION:At acceleration, a control sleeve 12 moves on the peripheral surface of a plunger 5 toward the direction of excess fuel. At movement to a prescribed position, an end side 12a is adapted to the end surface of a small contoured part 36b and further moved while pressing a piston 36. Here fuel in the first damper chamber 31 is pressed out with movement of the piston 36 into the second damper chamber 33 through a small hole 32, further pressed out into a pump chamber 3 through a porous valve unit 35 and communication passage 34. When fuel flows in the valve unit 35, large circulative resistance is caused to receive resistances from said circulative resistance and reaction force of a return spring 37 at movement of the piston 36, thus a moving speed of the control sleeve to the excess fuel direction can be reduced. |
