PURPOSE:To miniaturize the titled switch by a method wherein in case the angle of rotation of a damper for determining the amount of air flow from an air conditioner is controlled by the switch, signals designating the opening degree of the damper are generated in proportion to the conditions of contact between pole plates integrally formed with a lever shaft which is integral with the damper, and a plurality of contacts when the lever shaft is rotated. CONSTITUTION:The indexing switch 10 is attached to the lever shaft 17 which is fixed to nozzle damper for adjusting the amount of air blow from the air conditioner. The switch 10 includes a fixing plate 11 fixed to a bracket 12 with screws 13 and having split groove 11A on a part of the outer circumference thereof and two sheets of semicircular pole plates 14 which are riveted to a boss 15 and whose rotating positions are made visible from a point designated by a needle 19. Further, the contacts 23 and inserted into predetermined positions in the split grooves 11A, respectivly, so as to come into contact with the pole plates 14 and lead wires O, A, B, C, AC, BC and ABC are connected to the contacts, respectively, so that the opening degree adjusting signals for the damper are generated in correspondence to the contact positions of insulators 26 disposed between the pole plates 14 with respect to the lead wires. |
