Displaceable platforms (11, 12) for parking motor vehicles possess couplings between the platforms. The couplings cause the platforms to be coupled to one another when the platforms of one row are pushed together by a drive arranged at one end, and make it possible subsequently to form a gap between two platforms (11, 12). It is proposed that the coupling members (1, 2) and the contacts (3, 4) of each platform side be connected to form a structural unit (5, 6), use being made in one unit (5) of a peg-like coupling member (1) which is surrounded by a contact carrier. The contact carrier and coupling member are movable relative to one another. As a result, a considerable simplification of the manufacturing complexity is obtained. A secure mechanical and electrical coupling which takes account of the rough operation is achieved. <IMAGE>
