The invention relates to a wind turbine with a multi-bladed wind wheel, which is bell shaped and open to windward. For controlling the transmission of wind energy to the blades, the latter are, according to the invention, made from an elastically flexible material, with their end faces fixed on two spoked wheels, the fixing being arranged on the larger spoked wheel arranged on the windward side so that it is displaceable on the spokes by means of tension elements. The effective surface can thereby be adjusted to the respective wind position and in particular considerably improve the storm position of the wind turbine. A wind wheel for the wind turbine according to the invention is depicted in Fig. 1, from which the adjustability of the blades can be seen. <IMAGE>
