PURPOSE:To elevate a follow-up performance of a probe to a material to be detected, by providing a permanent magnet, an electromagnet and a spring on the upper part of the probe, and not only balancing the centrifugal force working on the probe but also offsetting the influence of its tare weight. CONSTITUTION:A probe 40 placed on the upper and lower parts in a rotary drum is supported by a slide bearing 80 so as to be movable in the upper and lower directions, and on the upper part, a spring 41 and a permanent magnet 50, and an electromagnet 51 in their circumference are provided. Force of the spring 41 is set to a prescribed value so that centrifugal force by rotation of the probe 40 is balanced, and constant centripetal force is always provided. Also, influence of empty weight in case when the probe 40 has reached the upper and lower positions is offset by a mutual action of the permanent magnet 50 and the electromagnet 51. In this way, a follow-up property of the probe 40 to the circumferential surface of a material to be detected is elevated. |
