Method for monitoring for power failure in mains-powered freezers

In the case of freezers, in order to give the user clear information on any mains failures (power cuts), a method is proposed for monitoring for a power failure in mains-powered freezers by means of electronic data acquisition, in the case of which method the duration of the power failure is measured, stored and displayed by means of a data acquisition device which is supplied independently of the mains.
