An overhead conveyor, in particular an overhead towing conveyor, is provided with a main rail (A) and two auxiliary rails (B, C) arranged on both sides of the latter, at least one main running gear (M) running on the main rail (A) and, offset in the running direction, there running on each of the auxiliary rails (B, C) at least one auxiliary running gear (SL, SR) on which is suspended a supporting arm (10) for receiving objects (26) to be transported. In order simply and quickly to be able to fix the course of the rails in the curved regions, a connecting member (13) is provided between the supporting arm (10) and one of the auxiliary running gears (SR) in order to produce the capability for these two to move transversely relative to one another. <IMAGE>
