PURPOSE:To improve the power factor of an elecdric power source with thyristor at light-load time by a method wherein a function to make the specified banks to be transferred to by-pass pair operation during performation control, and to make the by-pass pair to be released for the return from by-pass pair operation to normal control is provided. CONSTITUTION:At the by-pass pair disposition route deciding part 20, the calculated quantity M of control at the every sample period calculated as supply output for load is divided into the sign part and the numerical value part, disposition is performed with the absolute value in the process to distribute output between the respective thyristor banks 4a, 4b, and decision of the direction of positive and negative is performed at the trigger angle calculating parts 70a, 70b. And when a by-pass pair operation command is generated, controlling outputs being the same at the respective thyristor banks 4a, 4b hitherto are made to be varied relatively using an arbitrary function, output of the thyristor banks to be made as the object of by-pass pair operation is made to approach zero, and the quantity of reduction is corrected by the other thyristor bank. |
