PURPOSE:To easily recognize whether accurate reregistration is performed or not, by individually storing registered data during the occurrence of a fault and data inputted for the reregistration during the reregistration, and comparing their contents mutually. CONSTITUTION:If a cassette tape recorder 8 breaks down, a fault flag is set and an error mark is printed on a journal printer 7. Then, even if the total amount of dealed money is registered, it is not written on a cassette tape. Said total amount and the frequency of the dealing, however, are stored integrally in an unregistered data register. After the tape recorder 8 recovers from the fault, an operator performs reregistration to the cassette tape while referring to the print contents on the printer 7. In a reregistered data register, the reregistered total amount of money for sales and the frequency of dealing are stored integrally. Then, the operator performs switching to a normal registration mode to compare the contents of the unregistered data register with those of the reregistered data register, and the comparison result is displayed on a display device 5. |
