PURPOSE:To prevent the disorder of printing by writting down codes at the specified places of a paper in a printing mode in which codes written on a paper are read out and printing conditions are set up. CONSTITUTION:A paper 7 in which paper-grouped codes 6A and discharge codes 6B are written down at the diagonal position on the surface side and discharge codes 6C and 6D are written down at the diagonal position on the back side is used. When the paper 7 is sent into an insertion portion 1, codes written on the left-handed upper part of the paper 7 are read out by a reading portion 2, and printing is made according to the contents (the thickness of paper, the range of printing, including the numbers of lines and columns) of the grouped codes 6A(i) and also when sending attitude is erroneous, the discharge codes 6B, 6C, or 6D are read out and discharged without being printed on the card 7(ii). Also, when white paper not written with codes is sent in, printing is made under predetermined conditions (the range of printing and thickness of paper) (iii). |
