发明名称 METHOD OF INHIBITING TIGHT ADHESION OF WIRE DURING ANNEALING
摘要 PURPOSE:To effectively inhibit tight adhesion of adjacent wire parts during annealing, while inhibiting their direct contact, by applying slaked lime to the surface of a copper wire when the copper wire is to be wound round a reel. CONSTITUTION:When a metal wire having a copper or copper alloy surface is to be wound round a reel, water suspension of slaked lime (lime milk) is applied to the surface of the wire. The wire is then wound round the reel and annealed. The water suspension of slaked lime to be used is one prepared by adding slaked lime to water at a rate above its saturation concentration and forming the mixture into a suspending or greasy state. When the wire is annealed under this condition, water content is evaporated, and the applied lime milk is dewatered, so that a quick lime film is formed on the wire surface. Owing to this quick lime film, direct contact of adjacent wire parts, metallic diffusion theirbetween during annealing and their close adhesion can be effectively inhibited. Consequently, the wire can be smoothly pulled out from the reel.
