METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WINDING SINGLE BLANK SHEET

PURPOSE:To prevent a single blank sheet from occurrence of cracks by increasing the space between a take-up shaft and an opposite roll as the winding diameter of the single blank sheet is increased without applying pressing force to the single blank sheet wound around the take-up shaft from the opposite roll. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral surfaces of touch roll portions 3 increasing the outer diameter as a take-up shaft 2 takes up a single blank sheet 1 to increase the winding diameter bear against portions of the take-up shaft 2 other than a take-up portion 2a. A roll 4 opposed to the single blank sheet 1 wound around the take-up shaft 2 is displaced integrally with the axis of the touch roll portions 3 so that the opposite roll 4 is spaced from the take-up shaft 2 increasingly as the winding diameter of the single blank sheet 1 wound around the take-up shaft 2 is increased. Thus the occurrence of troubles can be prevented.
