PURPOSE:To enable a compact device to more a measuring lance by a required distance by means of connecting two movable shafts which are alternatively reciprocated at the side of the measuring lance in a horizontal sonde. CONSTITUTION:Two movable shafts 8a, 8b between which the measuring lance 1 in a horizontal sonde is put, are arranged in parallel and supported reciprocatably by the bearing 10 fixed to the stationary portion of the sonde device. A pear of chacks 13a, 13b are fixed to the measuring lance by way of a support 14, thereby holding the movable shaft 8a, 8b. These movable shafts 8a and 8b are caused to reciprocate continuously such that when one shaft is moved forwardly, the other shaft is moved back. In this period, the measuring lance 1 is inserted into a shaft-furnace 2 or moved back and pulled out from the furnace by holding the measuring lance 1 alternatively by the chack 13a or 13b. |
