PURPOSE:To enable to readily form a solar battery of large area by coating two electrodes formed on an insulator with a solution of organic macromolecular semiconductor, thereby causing a potential difference to produce between both electrodes. CONSTITUTION:An organic macromolecular semiconductor is dissolved in an organic solvent, and when it is necessary to sensitize the semiconductor, a dye or acceptor is added as required. Silver paste or Dotaito is coated on the suitable insulator 1 as an electrode, and two electrodes 2 are formed at an interval of approx. 1mm.. A solution 3 of organic macromolecular semiconductor is coated to cover the electrodes 2, and the solvent is then distilled, thereby forming a macromolecular semiconductor film 3. Thereafter, a coating 5 is covered on one electrode, and when the light is emitted to the other electrode, a potential difference is produced between both electrodes. |
