PURPOSE:To fix toner images contg. a prepolymer on a substrate satisfactorily under pressure by passing the substrate carrying said toner images between a pair of rollers under specific linear pressure. CONSTITUTION:A substrate carrying toner images contg. a prepolymer (e.g.; bitadiene prepolymer, etc.) is passed between a pair of rollers under 5-70kg/cm linear pressure, whereby the toner images are fixed on the substrate by pressure. Excellent fixation is provided and offsetting is obviated. If the linear pressure is below 5kg/cm, defective fixation is admitted. When the linear pressure exceeds 70kg/cm, there is no defective fixation but the tendencies toward frequent generation of excessive glass of copied images and the breakage of recording paper are observed. |
