PURPOSE:To eliminate the riding of the trailing end of an original on a guiding member during backward conveying as well as looping and creasing and to position the original accurately by weakening the backward conveying force while intensifying the conveying force of the original with a conveying belt. CONSTITUTION:A conveying belt 30 is extended between the two supporting rollers which function as a driving roller 31 and a tension roller 32. In the conveying stage when the belt 30 rotates counterclockwise in order to drive the belt 30 to rotate forward and backward with the roller 31, the part of the belt 30 in press-contact with the original is deflected by the rotation of the roller 31, by which the conveying force is intensified. In the backward conveying stage when the belt 30 rotates clockwise, the part of the belt 30 in press-contact with the original is pulled by the rotation of the roller 31, by which the backward conveying force is weakened. |
