Process for obtaining the waterproofed synthetic fiber fabrics, with a good softness, was described. Thus, Nylon fabrics(70D/12fX70D/24F) was dipped in methylcyclohexane(b.p. 101≦̸C, viscosity 0.734 cps at 20≦̸C, surface tension 25 dne/cm2 at 20≦̸C), and coated with a acryl resin. The fabrics was dried at 120≦̸C, and treated with 3-4 % silicone-chromium water repellant at 170≦̸C for 20 sec. The obtained fabrics has a good softness and a waterproofness.
