<p>A cast film, sheet or coating of a cross-linked graft copolymer of an organic polymeric substrate and an ethylenically unsaturated organic monomer, which is useful as a ion-exchange membrane, particularly a separator for an alkaline battery. The graft copolymer is formed by initiating and effecting the graft copolymerization while the polymeric substrate and monomer are in solution.</p> |
