DISPLAY DEVICE FOR FLASH PHOTOGRAPHING

PURPOSE:To previously display the number of times of available flashing when continuous flashing is carried out only by the energy accumulated in a main capacitor and also display the number of times of dimming in case of the generation of dimmed light in respect to a series controlling type automatically dimmed speed light. CONSTITUTION:A detecting circuit 5 detects the number of times of available flashing from the charging voltage of a main capacitor CM and outputs number of pulses corresponding to the number of times to a terminal (a). A shift register SR counts up the number of outputted pulses of the terminal (a) and turns on some of light emitting diodes D1-Dn in accordance with the counted value and the number of emitted diodes indicates the number of times of available flashing. The shift register SR is reset by release operation, reads a diming stop controlling pulse inputted to an input terminal D from a comparator CP in every flashing and turns on light emitting diode one by one in every input of a pulse. The number of emitted diodes indicates the number of times of available flashing.
