<p>PURPOSE:To permit easy removal of jammed paper by lifting wire guides and conveying rollers to open a conveying path by mounting the wire guides and the conveying rollers to an arm, and moving said arm pivotally with an operating lever. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft 9 of a paper conveying roller 7 is mounted in both side parts 10a of a U-shaped arm 10, and wire guides 3 are mounted in the front part 10b. Both side parts of the arm 10 are mounted to frames 12 on both sides of a fixing device pivotally movably by means of pivotal shafts 13, 14. Further, an operating lever 15 is provided. When paper is jammed in a conveying path 6, the operator draws out the entire part of the fixing device from the body of the copying machine, grips the lever 15 and lifts the lever in the direction of an arrow (a), then the guides 3 and the rollers 7 move upward together with the arm 10, by which the conveying path is opened, and the jammed paper is easily removed.</p> |
