<p>PURPOSE:To provide a plastic container having improved strength retainability in a water-absorbed state, dimensional stability and resistance to zinc chloride, keeping the desirable characteristics of polyamide resin, by molding a composition composed of specific amounts of a polyamide resin, polypropylene resin and fibrous reinforcing agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective container is prepared by molding a composition composed of (A) a polyamide resin, (B) a polypropylene resin and (C) a fibrous reinforcing agent. The weight ratio of A:B is 70:30-95:5, and the amount of the component (C) is 4-200pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of A+B. The component (B) is preferably a modified polymer obtained by copolymerizing propylene with an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride, containing 0.02- 5pts.wt. of the carboxylic acid or its anhydride per 100pts.wt. of propylene component, and having a melt flow index of 1-20g/10min. The modified polymer is preferably obtained by melt kneading the above components in the presence of an organic peroxide.</p> |
