ELECTROSTATIC COPYING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To prevent the appearance and developing of streaks and photographic fogs by means of a member for preventing wrapping of copying paper on a fixing roller in an electrostatic type copying machine which exposes light to an original from two directions in order to obtain a sharp copy despite the presence of minor undulations on the original surface. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting mirror 23 is provided in association with an exposure lamp 14 in order to irradiate light to an original from two directions. A reflection member 44 reflects the light from the lamp 14 and the mirror 23 and allows the incidence of the regularly reflected light to an optical device. Since no toners stick to the part of the photosensitive drum exposed by such powerful light corresponding to the leading end part 12a of the original 12, wrapping of the copying paper on the heat roller of a heat fixing device by the sticking force of the thermally molten toners is prevented, and the appearance and developing of undesirable streaks and photographic fogs are prevented.
