发明名称 AVOIDING MECHANISM OF TIGHT CORNER BRAKING IN 4-WHEEL DRIVEN CAR
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To avoid a tight corner braking phenomenon, in a 4-wheel driven car of front and rear wheel directly coupled type, by automatically reducing capacity of a front and rear wheel coupling transfer clutch, at turning motion of the car in a 4-wheel driven running state. CONSTITUTION:A 2-wheel driven running state is selectively applied by a 2, 4- wheel driving selector switch 40, if the switch 40 is turned on at off-operation, a selector valve 33 is selected by a solenoid 35, and oil is fed to a clutch 23 from an oil pump 31, then the clutch 23 is engaged to transmit power also to a rear wheel side and obtain a 4-wheel driven state. Under this condition, a car is steered to perform turning motion, if a braking phenomenon is decided in a control circuit 47 with a signal from a steering angle sensor 46, the clutch 23 is intermittently drained with oil by a drain valve 34 in a short period. Then transmitted power to the rear wheel side is decreased, and the tight corner braking phenomenon due to torsional torque can be prevented.</p>
