PURPOSE:To permit the supply of the pressurized fuel in high speed by a method wherein the top ports of two sets of opening and closing valves are connected to the piston chamber of the fuel pressure booster, one of the side ports thereof are connected to the pump side, the other side ports are connected to the tank side and both pilot ports are connected respectively to he tank side through a changeover switch. CONSTITUTION:Two sets of pilot system poppet type opening and closing valves 9, 10 controlling oil fed to the piston chamber 50 of the fuel booster 47 are provided while the top ports 13a thereof are connected to the piston chamber 50, side ports 13b thereof are connected to the tank 1 side and the pump 3 side respectively and the pilot ports 13c are connected to the tank side 1 respectively through the changeover valves 11, 12. Said opening and closing valves 9, 10 are the poppet type, therefore, the response property thereof are speedy, a big amout of fluid may be flowed and a high-speed switching may be premitted since the opening and closing thereof are effected by the changeover switches 11, 12 of high-speed electromagnetic operation type, which are provided on pilot paths 22, 23. The amount of lifts of the valve bodies 14, 15 of the opening and closing valves may be adjusted by stoppers 20, 21, therefore, the amount of fuel fed to the piston chamber 50 and the injection pressure of the fuel may be adjusted. |
