[Class 75(1).] The burner body 1 is surrounded by a bellshaped member 25 through which secondary air passes so as to be preheated, the outlet openings 26 being arranged in proximity to the burner outlets 2. The member 25 may be integral with, or detachable from, the burner, the openings 26 in the latter case being formed by serrations in the upper edge of the member. The primary air is preheated during its passage through the body 1 and a tube 7 to the mixing- tube 9, the inlet 11 being remote from the nipple 4. |
